Rainy Downtown PDX

March 31, 2009

I have been stuck inside for the winter and have had several shoots set up, that have been canceled due to our typical stupid spring weather…so I decided today, I was going to just go downtown and shoot whatever, I wanted…I have been itching to get out and shoot, and just press the shutter…so I did…and these are a few of the shots I ended up with…

I hope that you will enjoy them…

As soon as the weather gets better you will see some people, YAY!

As always, please feel free to leave some nice words, ;)

Raliegh’s bday…

March 19, 2009

So I was invited to one of my clients (actually she is pretty much family, but she buys lots of photos from me…so she is a client as well) house to photograph her daughters bday…it was great…talk about a mom who really gets into her daughters bday! She dressed up and everything! Well her daughter and all the kids had a blast…and so did I…thought I would just post up one of my favorite photos of the day!

Ferguson Fam.

March 19, 2009

The mom of this family contacted me about shooting their awesome family…This time of year is really hit and miss and no matter what way you slice it, so very cold…well for taking photos outside, anyways. We were not sure what we were going to get for this day when we planned it and me out of town on my belated honeymoon, I was not sure what the weather was going to be like when I got home, the shoot was the day after I came back…but as soon as I got home I checked the weather and it was going to be partly cloudy…I can not complain about that in Nov. So I emailed her and they were ready to brave the cold…and they did and seemed to not mind at all…which was so wonderful of them…they were such good sports. They wanted candid photos, and that is what I do :)…I had so much fun shooting their family. They were so nice and as you can tell from the photos, their children are absolutely adorable! Thanks again guys, for braving the cold and being totally awesome with it!

Again assisted Tj (www.tjcameron.com) on this wedding and as always, he lets me shoot more then assist, so it always great assisting him. They got married at The Aerie at Eagle’s Landing, which is where I just got married at. So it was very cool to see how another wedding was set up and how it looked there.dsc_91451

I had the extreme pleasure of shooting a couple of my very dear friends wedding. It was in Chehalis, WA, at a barn on their families property. They did an amazing job, putting everything together, not only was Stacey the bride, she was the one who was in charge of getting everything done, just crazy!!!!! It turned out amazing and I was so happy to share their day with them. You guys belong together!!!!!

Tj (www.tjcameron.com) had me come along and shoot another wedding with him and it was awesome!  Juliya was a such a willing bride turned out some killer portraits for the couple, she laid down on the ground in her dress before the wedding…how gangster is that? :-)  The actual event took place at the Oregon Gardens, it did rain a little during the ceremony, but hey we live in Oregon right, we roll with it…and she took it all in stride. It was great time and a beautiful wedding.

Downtown with a Senior

March 19, 2009

I had the pleasure of shooting one of my younger sister’s good friend…It was a little bit crazy, as we were suppose to shoot on the weekend, but forecast called for rain, so I asked her if we could do it on Wed. She said yea and we made it happen. It was an absolute blast shooting downtown and we were able to do some night stuff, which I absolutely love shooting portraits in. All in all a really good session!!!!!!

Last weekend I did a shoot with the most adorable little boy, Quinn. We shot up at Washington Park in the later part of the evening…His mother suggested the place and it was a very good suggestion…

He was a bit apprehensive at first (I do not blame him), but after a while he started to warm up to the idea of being photographed…However the whole time, he just wanted his truck and snacks…I do not blame him, sometimes all I want are my snacks and toys. Being 2, he is given that right :-). So you will see in his photos that he has his truck and his snacks…His parents were wonderful and did their best to keep them out of his hands, but hey a boy knows what he wants.
